Review of abebooks
Owned by Amazon-Ordered 2 books through ABE because I saw they "are a network of independent book stores". One book did arrive from an indie store, but the other arrived from amazon. I tried to return it (it was also a tiny font, and i wanted a full-size copy) and found out they do not require their "sellers" to accept returns if the book is not damaged, but that most will for good customer service practice. Sure enough, the "seller" told me they do not accept returns when i reached out. I also contacted Abe customer support about amazon fulfilling the order, explaining that I ordered through their site to avoid purchasing via amazon, and their customer service response was dismissive and condescending. A quick web search shows that 1. AbeBooks is terribly rated (no surprise), and that 2. they are owned by Amazon. Shame on me.
Review of abebooks
I bought a £27 (plus P&P) book from Great Book Prices, as advertised on Abe Books, but the book never arrived and the company failed to answer any of my emails over a period of several weeks. When I turned to Abe Books for help they told me my request had timed out and they couldn't help either. I have bought from AbeBooks successfully in the past but was very unhappy with their follow up. Now that I see Great Book Prices has such an appalling rating on Trust Pilot and is considered to be a scam company, I think Abe should remove all their books from their website and refund me my money.

Review of hulu
I got Hulu live tv with no ads but still get ads on some shows which is annoying and paid for sports packages but can’t watch those as the screen goes black and no matter if I reinstall the app or restart it still goes black every time. Not worth the money

Review of care
I am posting the review I sent to the BBB but will be sending over experience to all consumer bureaus and appropriate attorney generals. I believe that CARE.com COULD be participating in illegal activity. Some may call it a scam. I believe the only way they make money is off reoccurring charges from customers that do not actually use their service. They do not send out reminders or receipts of charges and they make it very difficult to cancel. Check your bank statements. I am making sure all the proper authorities know about my experience and the experience of others. Check BBB and you will see there are MANY other users with my exact experience. Especially the experience of being logged out when trying to cancel. That ended up costing me $311.00 over the course of several months. Be very very careful.Original review:This business charged my account monthly from July 2023 to February 2024. Throughout this time I was inactive in the account. I had posted no new jobs or hired any care professionals. I quickly realized Care.com wasn’t for me when I signed up so I decided to cancel after the first month. I remember clearly that after I clicked “Cancel membership”, it logged me out of the account. I took this as a sign that the membership had been canceled. But nope, it continued to charge me $38.95 a month. A charge I didn’t realize until many months later. I was shocked when I found the mistake and immediately went to try and cancel again. Sure enough, it did the same thing. It logged me out. I logged back in and canceled again and it logged me back out. I repeated this two more times. I had to actually chat with a Care.com customer service rep to actually cancel the membership manually. It was already hard enough to find the place on the website where you can actually cancel. Then when you do, it logs you out. I find it deceitful and amoral Ultimately Care.com has their terms of service written in an ironclad way that they don’t have to refund money, ever. But on top of that they make it intentionally difficult to cancel their service by burying their “cancel membership” button and logging users out of their accounts when they actually do try and cancel. I want my money refunded or I will be taking my complaint to the State of Tennessee Consumer Protection and the Federal Bureau of Consumer Protection. I will file with BBB for now and await a response but I am fully prepared to take this matter further. Thank you.
Review of 99designs
As a first-time customer, I was very pleased with the quality of the designs I received and the ease of the process. I feel like I got very good value for the money and would not hesitate to use 99designs again should the need arise.I would recommend this company to both friends and family.
Review of wayfair
Wayfair has a great selection. And the prices are mostly reasonable. That's where the pro's end. The cons are everything that happens after you click pay. I bought a fair amount of furniture via Wayfair when I was redecorating my apartment. I paid extra for assembly or white glove delivery. Since that moment, it has been nothing but a pain in the ass. It's not Wayfair that assembles. It's Angi. They're even worse. From the moment I purchased the items, the excessive and often incorrect emails and texts from Wayfair and Angi were a constant source of frustration. One return didn't appear in their system, so I had to go to FedEx to confirm receipt and call back to make them acknowledge it. One of the pieces still hasn't been assembled (not sure if it's Wayfair or Angi to blame) adding weeks and weeks onto the process. Angi really is a terrible partner, too. For all the time and agitation this has taken, I could've just put the damn thing together myself. I am skipping so many things that happened that I don't have enough space for. I'm giving My plan is to call Wayfair, get my money back and do it myself. Wayfair blows. Angi blows. Stick to Article (who might cost a tiny tiny bit more, but their assembly people are IN HOUSE) or Amazon (whose customer service, returns, and speed dances circles around Wayfair.) ADDING REPLY TO WAYFAIR'S RESPONSE: I've called and chatted with so many of your support team that you'll understand if I find your reply lacks sincerity. And you obviously didn't read my review. It's not the quality of the product. It's the quality of the process and service. Your people are very friendly, I know they're trying, but with each subsequent issue, there's the usual report to the technical team (which I'm not a part of) or "give it a moment, it's a technical glitch" or unsuccessful handoff to Angi who, as your chosen third party, is a reflection of you and how you care for your customers. This issue is within your system, your UX, your technology. And your answer too frequently is something that involves me having to wait or spend my time talking to more and more reps. Sorry, in a consumer culture where there are so many other options at competitive prices, that's just not good enough for me.

Review of lowes
I bought nest wired camera with flood lights on Lowe’s website. Everything confirmed via email received. Went to Lowe’s to pick up and was told order was cancelled as they ran out. Ok I get that inventory in store is not in line with on line. However the person at the desk check and said 4 available at yuba city location. I asked to have it shipped to Elk Grove store. He refused and said Lowe’s would loose money shipping it here. So SOL for you customer cause it’s not customer service it’s our pocket book that we are looking out for. I have receipt.
