The best one I tried so far...

I have tried so many ESPs in the past and I will finally stay with GetResponse. I have really good deliverability. Moreover I do not need to have several different tools for everything, so I could limit our spendings. It has many cool features but it's still rather easy to use. I love the customer support as well.

We opened an account on 19.10.23 with a year's upfront payment of £460. This is the first time we have done an email campaign, and we do not know much about it. For this very reason, we invite GetResponse to check that we are doing everything correctly before sending the campaign to customers (by the way, they advertise that they have tools to test email campaigns before they go to customers).The first campaign went out to customers, and the next one went out after two weeks. We got the information from Getresposnse that they blocked our email company capability, and we cannot make new ones.It was the Christmas season, with increased sales, and we had no time to deal with it.About a week after the new year, because we can't send new emails, I asked for a refund for the unused months and got an answer:"Thank you for contacting the GetResponse billing department.Please be advised that fees already charged are not refundable by the terms of service. By Section V. Payments:"Payments made for the ordered Service are not refundable"."After a few days, another email arrived:"Good morning,Thank you for contacting the GetResponse billing department.Your account has been closed by the Audit Department for violating our Terms of Service. Unfortunately, no refund is available in this case. According to the Terms of Service:"in a situation in which the contract is terminated, then, regardless of the reasons and the mode of termination, the Customer is not entitled to claim a refund of the payments made by him, either in whole or in part."They took away the ability to log into the panel to gather some information about what we were doing; it is obvious that they do not want us to have access to what happened during our cooperation; it is very suspicious and disturbing. That is so wrong that they have not wanted to refund the money for more than ten months, which we cannot use...We do not know how we violated; there is no explanation whatsoever. Only go if you are familiar with email companies. To this company, once you have a problem, they will block you and take all the money. Lastly, raise a dispute with the card provider and press chargeback. Not recommended GetResponse.

On May 31st, at 9:36 PM, I received a notification on my phone that my personal account was suspended for "child sexual exploitation." Like any normal person, I appealed for a review, and at 9:49 PM (both times according to my personal email address), I received the message that my account was disabled. Along with my personal Facebook account, my Instagram account (because I created it with Facebook) and my WhatsApp account also went down... the latter because I linked it to my Facebook account for some convenience a few years ago.The latter almost cost me a grade on a group project worth 20% of my final grade; I had to buy another chip as soon as I could. Not to mention the hassle of updating my CV everywhere to include my new number.But back to the topic, I already submitted my request to the FB form (https : // www. facebook .com / help / contact /507270721277573) in the second week of June, but from what I've read and heard, it seems no one is responding; and I haven't received a message or anything after submitting the request.By the way, on June 1st at 7:17 PM, I created another account with my same name (with my Gmail; my original account was Hotmail) to reconnect with people I talk to often so we could talk and exchange our accounts on other networks so we could continue talking.But on June 3rd at 1:40 PM, my account was restricted for "account integrity." I appealed again, and at 2:54 PM I received the message that it was disabled (those were the times according to my Gmail).

Money taken even though subscription cancelled

My son signed up for a free trial, cancelling immediately to avoid any charges. Chess.com took £109.99 from me anyway, so I contacted them for a refund and was offered all sorts of discounts and other offers. I reiterated that I was debited in error and my son had not used the site so I wanted a full refund, and since then chess.com have ignored all communications.

As a Host , the communication with BK is well nigh impossible and a recent stinking review was from a guest who did not stay at my guest suite. There is no moderation of reviews and no checks going on, seems like BK are asleep at the wheel and have precious little respect for Hosts. Will remove myself from BK once the current bookings are completed.

McAfee security rip off .

As many others I would like to be able to give a negative star review absolutely useless company .I stopped using Mcafee over a year ago and cancelled auto renewal but this week was billed 95.00 pounds auto renewal- bit of a pain but received a refund yesterday .Today they have withdrawn 95.00 again so I went through the process again .Just tried to log in and now my account is blocked due to suspicious activity? . I am now awaiting a call back as their call lines are “unusually busy” I am not surprised.As a side note why does a internet security company keep asking you to accept cookies on their website.An absolute joke of a company steer well clear of these cowboys.

Challenging Issues Relating To GDPR? FAIL!

Another public service organization who claims to work in the best interest of personal data and GDPR of the people but uses a cowardly approach by taking no action whatsoever, pushing you in front to go out and fight instead of standing up for what is right!.. I wish I read these reviews before I got involved with these losers!After they passed the buck back by telling me it was a ‘service issue’ with the company, they then denied any data breach had ever occurred.They’d made a phony excuse for their delay in response time (of about 4 months) they concluded that it wasn’t an issue with GDPR, but a service issue which I apparently had with the company I was complaining about.Pathetic!

The selection is fantastic

The selection is fantastic, and I often find exactly what I need. However, I've noticed that delivery times can be a bit hit or miss at times. While I've had some orders arrive sooner than expected, there have been others that took longer than I'd hoped. It would really enhance the shopping experience if they could implement a more reliable tracking system. but still, it's a relaible option :)

I signed up in response to a 'deal' in 2017, and found out after I signed up how much it actually will cost. I tried to cancel it according to the guidelines, but they did not accept them.Over the next 2 years, I found out it was the Wall Street Journal that continued to bill me over $40 a month, and they were using an email address connected to my account that did not exist - it was a typo!Now that this has officially been figured out, they refuse to refund me even close to a quarter amount of the money they took from me, using a false email!Tip for consumers: Their promotions are scams, and they will not acknowledge the cancellations from the receiver. They will use unproven emails for communication, and the bills on the credit account will use names that look like personal investments.User's recommendation: Avoid advertisements. Read the fine print - they will reject cancellations.

Suspend your account suddenly and terrible support (No reply at all)

I have spent over 1 year in writing on Medium. But suddenly recently, they suspended my account without any notice. All my previous efforts are lost. I have tried to contact their support via Tickets and email yourfriends over 10 times, but haven't got any reply yet.I would never use Medium. And everyone should be careful since they are very likely to suspend your account one day in the future suddenly without any notice.
