Like nearly everyone else, I have to use Zoom for videoconferencing. I meet teammates around the country, one on one, every day. Zoom is CONSTANTLY throwing an "unstable internet connection" message at me. For years now, I've known not to use any other services while using Zoom. No wifi. Close other browsers besides the SINGLE ONE I'm using for the conference call. No one else sharing my internet connection. Hard-connected via RJ45. None of this helps.I upgraded internet plans THREE TIMES because I kept reading online that the problem was my internet speed (upload, specifically). A few weeks ago, I switched to a gigabit plan with the highest upload speed the largest ISP in my part of the country offers. I've seen no change in Zoom performance. Meetings are interrupted MULTIPLE times. I see over and over again the hated black box alerting me my internet connection is unstable. Same on the other end with the people I'm meeting. Everything else on my gigabit internet plan works superbly, but Zoom says the problem is my internet connection. And don't even talk about "customer service" with Zoom. It's par for the course today. They just don't want to talk with you--and if they must, they can't offer any help. Maddeningly frustrating.
