Xero is pretty good, but it’s not perfect. My company has been using Xero for over 10 years. It does pretty much everything we need but the ways I feel it needs to be improved are:1. The user permissions need more granular customisation. I have been forced to grant an employee full admin access in order to provide the functions that this employee needs, but there are a number of full admin features that I do not wish to give out to employees. That’s a big flaw.2. It sometimes feels very difficult to find certain features. Usually features we don’t need to use every week, more occasional features. I’m usually left scratching my head struggling to find the thing I’m looking for. So I feel navigation and user experience could be improved significantly if Xero invested in this and perhaps had some independent third party testing done.3. There are features in the desktop version that do not exist in the mobile app. This can be very frustrating at times.4. Adding receipts manually is slow. I bet with a bit of effort Xero could develop a tool that allows a user to upload a batch of receipts and have Ai connect them to the relevant transactions. That would be smart.So it’s good but it could be better, in my opinion.
