August 6 2023. I went to check the status this morning August 15 as I hadnt heard about delivery yet. I saw the couch that I paid $999 was now $869. I called customer service since I have not received the product yet and asked for $130 refund. They said their was a sale (obviously) and so they could not. That makes absolutely no sense - I have not received the product yet and just ordered it. What company does not honor a price adjustment for a product not even received? If I had know they were going to have sale within days of my purchase, I would have waited. I do not know of a company that doesnt have a price adjustment window of time (particularly if it is within a week and the product is not even to the consumer). This $130 has led to a loss of this customer and I am sure to tell my family and friends.
