I made several purchases on March 9, 2025, including a round table intended for a dinner I had been planning for April 12th. The table was originally scheduled for delivery on April 4th, but the date was pushed back first to April 8th and then to April 10th.When the table finally arrived on April 10th, the delivery person attempted to assemble it but discovered that the necessary hardware (nuts and bolts) was missing. In addition, the table had visible dents and scratches. As a result, he was unable to assemble it and took the table back with him.I contacted Wayfair immediately. Because I was desperate to have the table ready in time for my dinner, I was willing to accept the damaged table and even purchase the missing hardware from Home Depot to assemble it myself. Wayfair advised me to contact the shipping company and request that they return the table, either later that day or the next. However, the table was not brought back, and when I called the shipping company the following day, I was told it was not scheduled for delivery. In the end, the dinner I had been planning for two months was completely ruined.Unfortunately, Wayfair assumes no responsibility after the purchase is made—they leave all post-purchase issues to be handled through third-party shipping companies, which creates a frustrating and unreliable experience for customers.
