Partial Order cancelled, but still have to pay for return shipping

I ordered 2 items to use together during Wayfair "Way Days". One item shipped right away, other was cancelled after 2 days. Stated cancelled due to no inventory when spoke to one representative (Odd website shows 9 units in stock), other rep stated cancelled cause manufacturer would not honor low price listed on Wayfair site (Then why was it listed that way all day). Refused delivery on first item as useless without other item. Now Wayfair wants to charge me a return fee for shipment to go back when I can't use it due to their cancelling other part of item. Just poor customer service, poor ability to keep inventory records and/or ability to manage website. Just a bad experience all around, not worth the headache when items very similar can be purchased online through another vendor at same prices.
