I attempted to book a residence with hosts Brendan and Tara Hawkins in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl. I was very specific on TWO separate emails requesting dates Feb. 8-12, 2024. After taking my $1600.00 deposit, they changed the dates to the following weekend. I don't need to be there on any other dates and they're (the hosts) refusing to refund my money.Per VRBO:"To summarize, I have been able to provide you details about your reservation. In this case the host informed they didn't have available the dates originally requested, and they sent you a pre-approval offering different dates. At this moment the refunds must be discuss directly with your host." Not only have I lost money; it's too late for me to make other accommodations for this once in a life time experience!***Don't trust Brendan and Tara Hawkins (Las Vegas) or VRBO to honor any contract! Who randomly changes dates and expects their client to succumb to their supply and demand needs.
