We had an disaster rental

We had an disaster rental. The rented property had NO electricity or VERY limited electricity for 9 days at 1000$ a day. That also meant no water or toilets. VRBO systems are not contactable without internet and their NA numbers cut off for 86% of the world. The local agents and host would not respond..leaving, on the first, night roaming the streets trying to find emergency accommodation.We were told that would be a single night at a house we did NOT choose and that ended up to be for the duration of our stay. That house also lost electricity on the second to last day. On our return, VRBO were no help. Hard to contact if you are not IN the USA. A frightening experienceBEWARE
