I cannot recommend Vrbo based on our experience.We booked and paid for a holiday apartment through Vrbo - that aspect was fine, however trying to get our damage deposit back has been horrific and still not successful. We left the apartment in perfect condition, exactly following the instructions from the host. They continue to send generic texts saying they have instructed their bank but we have not received the refund.Trying to follow-up effectively with Vrbo for support in the event of an issue is a nightmare - multiple calls going through the same generic questions, no effective resolution or way forward, and in the latest case being placed on hold for 30 minutes before the call was cut off.I am left wishing we had never booked with Vrbo.
