On the 29th October I booked an expensive country cottage via VRBO for Christmas. I live in the Netherlands and wanted to spend Christmas in the UK with my family. I paid in full on the day of booking and received an email confirmation. Today 2 days before I get on the ferry to travel to have Christmas with my family VRBO sent an email canceling my booking - I am absolutely devastated and disgusted that a company (and the owner - who ignored all my messages) can treat consumers with such disregard and disrespect. To top it all off I have to wait 15 days for a full refund!!
