Neither the platform nor the host for a Helsinki flat costing over 180euros per night announced that the check in was only possibly until 10pm! We arrived from the airport at 2am and found a message from that morning (while we were flying) that the check in was only possible until 10pm and were left in the -12c cold with small children in a foreign country without shelter. We took the first hotel we found available and paid 330euros for that night. The host washed her hands and said she couldn’t do anything and took zero responsibility for this gross negligence of not disclosing critical information. The platform also washed their hands and blamed me for not “following the rules” when the “rules” were only informed to me a few hours before the check in opened and while I was traveling without internet. I tried to fight my case and they refunded me less than a third of my costs incurred due to their negligence. Not only that, we got a bad cold due to standing in the freezing weather and we ended up going to sleep at 4am. We missed the 9am tour on our only day in Helsinki and also we spent the entire holidays with a bad cold. I highly recommend to never book with them. Awful negligent unprofessional and inconsiderate experience. They will ruin your trip and beyond.
