Today, May 15, 2025, at 12:45 PM, I called VRBO because I had a payment issue with a guest that I couldn't figure out how to resolve. I spoke with two young women at the call center in Bucharest who were truly unprofessional and incompetent. After I asked them a question that required an answer, instead of responding, they simply hung up. They even pretended not to hear me, although it was clear they were still online—I could hear them moving. Fortunately, I was able to resolve the issue on my own. But one has to wonder how these incompetent people are trained—people who can't give answers, hang up the phone, and don't even bother calling back after checking for a reasonable solution.
