Update: VRBO reached out to me and within a few days made everything right. Raising the rating to 3 stars. I only wish it wouldn't have taken so much effort and a bad review on Trustpilot to make it happen. I may use them again but will document everything if I do. Host listed a 3 bedroom but it was only 2 bedrooms when we arrived. I immediately left and found other accommodations because we needed three bedrooms. VRBO never admitted host was wrong but now their listing only shows two bedrooms. VRBO never refunded all the money. They only refunded half and their customer service is EXTREMELY difficult to get ahold of. They will email you asking for a response and when you reply it says the email box is no longer valid or unmonitored. If this wasn't such a large company I would call this a scam. We've rented with VRBO about a dozen times but this was our last.
