I have used Venmo to send money since 2022 and have never had an issue...until yesterday when trying to receive money from a client. We received confirmation emails from Venmo of the transfers and when I went to "accept the money" in the email link, my problems began. Venmo locked me out of my account. I called customer service and spoke with Rachelle (she is the only reason I am even giving any stars...she was great!). As much as she tried to help, she wasn't able to. I tried all the "troubleshooting" things she suggested and instructed me to do to no prevail. I ended up closing and deactivating my Venmo account. I definitely believe there are better money management services out there.
