Terrible company and horrible app! It is unbelievable in this day and age of all things digital that a company who handles people's money should not be able to tell you where your money is at any moment. A business paid me on January 22nd through Venmo. I requested an "instant transfer" which they charged me $18 to do. Here it is the 27th and still no money. I get into a chat with Santiago and he looks into it. He then tells me he has to "escalate" the case and that the department that handles that can take up to 6-7 days to get back to you but could be sooner. This is absurd. I have worked in the accounting field for over 30 years and any time I have called a bank they knew the exact issue and resolved it within the same business day or by the next one at the latest. Absolute garbage that this company cannot do the same. The only decent thing they did was to refund the "instant transfer" charge. Other than that this company is garbage! Stay away!
