I recently purchased six chicks, that were supposed to be Rhode Island Reds to sell to my neighbor who only wanted Rhode Island Reds. They are now eight weeks old, and I am now realizing they are not Rhode Island Reds because they are still light yellow, so I’ve come to the conclusion that they gave me buff Orpington‘s. I am now not able to assist my neighbor. The lady who gave them to me told me that they didn’t have any buff Orpington‘s in and all they had was white like horns black jersey giants in Rhode Island Reds, so not only did she give me the wrong Chickens but she had no idea what kind they had. Very scary…
