Do not trust Tractor Supply!!!!I ordered a Cannon Gun Safe on their website November 24th. I had been searching all retailers for over week leading up to cyber weekend in order to find a good safe for the money. I ordered the safe and got a confirmation email stating that my order had gone through and could pick it up Saturday November 25 but please wait for an additional email confirming that the safe was ready for pick up. Saturday afternoon I still had not received any email so I called the store to ask if it was ready. The lady was very helpful but after searching for a while said that there was not one available at this time and that they would contact me when one was available.November 28th, I got a very sterile email stating my order had been cancelled (see below). No explanation.given.Hello William,The item(s) listed below have been cancelled. You have not been charged for the item(s) listed below. Please contact Customer Solutions at 877-718-6750 if you have any additional questions.I called the Customer Solutions number and talked to Shay who said there was nothing to be done as there were no available safes at that store. While on the phone I looked up the safe and found one available at a nearby store that had the exact. I told her I was good with picking it up at the other store if she could move the order to the other store. She said that Tractor Supply's policy would not allow her to do that. I asked to speak to her manager and got the same answer from Angela. I asked to speak to her supervisor and was told that he would have to call me back as he was not in until noon. She said it may take up to 48 hours for him to get back to me.I was worried the one that is currently available will be gone by that time. I even asked her if they could hold it until this gets resolved and she said no.I have never had an issue like this with any other retail stores in the past. If an order was made, the store honors the order or usually will give a comparable item as a remedy. Because I thought I had bought a safe, I passed on some other similar safes at other retailers and some of those are no longer available.As of today, I have not received any calls for the supervisor.I went to the corporate site and registered a complaint but have not heard from them either.
