Title: Heartbroken and Misled – I Trusted TEMU and Got ScammedI honestly never thought I’d be writing this, but I have to speak out. I’m a student with very limited money and no one to support me financially. I came across a promotional offer on TEMU that said if I spent Rs. 8000, I would receive a free gift. As someone who can’t afford to spend much, I still took the offer seriously and placed my order.I selected a bag that cost Rs. 4000 (even though it’s available for half the price elsewhere) and a jewelry box worth Rs. 3900 (also overpriced). I didn’t care, because I was hopeful — I believed the promise that a free gift would come. But once I placed the order and paid using my card, everything changed. Suddenly, TEMU support began telling me, “You weren’t in the right event,” or “You didn’t qualify.” I had followed all the instructions — why would I ever spend Rs. 8000 otherwise? And when I asked for a refund, they coldly replied, “Sorry, your order has already been shipped.” No concern. No help. Just robotic apologies and complete silence when I begged for answers. I feel cheated. Deceived. And completely heartbroken.I’m crying while writing this. I trusted this brand. I gave them my money. And in return, I got tricked. If you’re reading this and thinking about buying from TEMU — please be careful. Their “deals” are often just manipulation. Their support team shows zero empathy, and their refund policy is built to protect them, not you. This was not just a purchase for me — this was my savings. I’m a student who believed in something too good to be true, and now I feel so small and so helpless.TEMU, if you’re reading this: Please treat your customers like human beings. Not numbers. Not just transactions. You don’t know what someone sacrifices to place an order. And how badly it hurts when you break that trust.
