As a US based company offering an online platform to companies based in other parts of the world, there needs to be more consideration given to the needs of paying customers based in other countries. For example, I am a very small, one person company based in Auckland, New Zealand, offering online courses to teachers I mentor in person who are also based in New Zealand. I am a registered business in New Zealand and I pay tax according to NZ laws. I am not subject to US tax laws, I have no desire to sell my services in the US, so why must I be harassed into completing US tax forms and paying US tax? I already pay tax in New Zealand! Why should I be subjected to paying tax in two countries especially when I am not domiciled in two countries and I am not doing business in two countries. I already pay a subscription to Teachable for the use of their online platform. I have had other issues related to this, around the payment gateway. I don't want my teacher clients to have to pay for my courses in US dollars but this has occurred recently as I was not made aware that my Stripe payment gateway option was removed when I transferred from the Pro plan to the Basic plan. Not happy with Teachable at the moment.
