I bought a $50 prepaid gift card at Target issued by MetaBank. Target refused to help me when I bought a product from their store and was completely ripped off!!! Attempted to use the card and it wouldn't work. Got onto their website and said there was an issue with the card. I called the customer service number, waited on hold for over an hour, they admitted the issue, said they'd send me another card and it would arrive in 7 to 10 days. Waited 2 months and nothing ever showed up. Called them again, waited on hold over an hour again, told them what happened, they had a record of my address on file and said they would send a new card out once again. It's been 4 months since then and I've never received anything. I looked online and this seems to be a common practice with MetaBank taking people's money, not loading the customers card, making it extremely difficult to reach them, falsely stating that they'll resolve the issue until you get tired of chasing your money. I'm not giving up though. You ripped me off for $50 and hours of my time trying to get my .oney back. This is unethical and someone should be in jail for this blatant scam. Give me my money back!
