Target’s online delivery system is incredibly misleading and needs to be addressed immediately. If you’re going to charge a shipping fee and then suddenly change the delivery date to a much later one, the least you can do is refund or credit that fee. Being told, “there’s nothing we can do, you just have to wait until the product arrives,” is both unacceptable and unprofessional.I placed an order online with an expected delivery date of “2 days.” The following day, I received an email stating that the product would now arrive in 2 WEEKS. This is wrong on so many levels—misleading, bordering on false advertising, and entirely unethical. It feels like a tactic to secure the sale, taking advantage of customers with empty promises. It’s disappointing to see such practices from a corporation of this size, paired with such poor online customer service.
