It has issues.

It's an ok alternative to using the storefront on your console. It used to be better when it also supported both the PS3 and the Vita digital stores (they're still going on the consoles). Prices are also hit and miss. Why digital games are now as expensive as physical games is a mystery to me. Wasn't the storefronts supposed to allow for cheaper games due to the lack of physical media, transport, import fees, etc? My advise is no matter the price of the game or if it's in their sales, always shop around with the physical retailers before buying on the PSN. PlayStation support can be hit or miss with their timing and helpfulness. Somethings like refunds can be done through online forums. But from my experience most problems require a call to PlayStation support, where you'll be waiting in a queue for ages just to speak to someone who'll need to raise the ticket with someone else internally. Afterwards it's then 50%/50% if they'll then sort out your issue.
