Unfortunately i fell victim to their free trial offer, its not a scam but it is misleading. The auto-renewal opt out and free downloads not rolling over creates a very poorly structured payment model. No email reminders just compounds the misery. Its legal but not ethical. Anyway i spent a long time discussing the issue with a customer service agent called Andrew, he was patient and polite and very empathetic and ultimately was able to waive the cancellation fee and arrange a partial refund, so credit to the customer service staff. Unfortunately the management are destroying shutterstocks reputation with these tactics, especially in this current financial climate.
