As we have multiple Shopify stores, we were quite worried when we looked at the feedback here, especially as we have been with them for around 10 years. We started to wonder what was happening because we were having a negative experience ourselves involving Shopify payments. Fundamentally the problem was they were asking for documents and in spite of us uploading all sorts of different items which fitted the requirements of what they wanted they were constantly rejecting them but eventually, the issue was taken up by a lady called Sarah who escalated the problem to the payments team and after seven days of considerable stress the whole thing got resolved. It was a negative experience, but basically it seems to be the case that you just need to speak to the right people, but it's still a bit of an ordeal but regardless I'm happy to give them five stars because their platform works really well for us and now that this is resolved it's fine, and it's the only time we've had a real nightmare with them in all the years we've been with them.
