Very grateful to have found the lid latch/strike part #215254 for my 1987 Maytag W/D stack unit. Parts for this unit are no longer available unless found used and this unit is unbelievable and has worked a lifetime. The latch purchased here was made from a design of the original piece and it works perfectly. I paid for fast shipping and the item was made and shipped quickly.The only cons I have (unrelated to purchase) is that the designer of the latch cannot be given a public review, credit and his profile does not show how many units sold. Also, a link for this review section is not posted on the site, learned of it after writing tech support. Hopefully the site will be updating. Item saved me from buying a new W/D unit.
