Purchased MLB tickets through SeatGeek for the Mariners vs Yankees in Seattle. Up pops a link for a "Lot Parking" pass you had to also purchase for the game (unless you wanted to be parking on the streets of Seattle, miles down the road, pay $75+ for the garage or order an uber to get to the game). Cool. Purchased a parking pass for $30 THROUGH SeatGeek. Game day arrives and I try to park in the parking lot that I purchased the parking spot for. 1) Lot is under construction. 2) Parking Lot employee sitting in ticket booth said I could not enter lot, as that lot for T-Mobile/Mariner Baseball did not partner with SeatGeek, so the ticket I purchased would not work there. Sure, I could still park there, but I would've needed to pay another $60, and I would be out the $30 I spent through SeatGeek since they were not business partners (he says this wasn't the first time it's happened with SG). I requested a refund immediately (with the stupid AI robot they make you chat with) and that thing told me to keep an eye on my email for a link for a refund. This all happened on May 14th, I have requested a refund several times, have sat on hold with the customer service for over an hour (& still have not gotten through to talk to a human). It is now the 29th of May and I have still not 1) received an email about a refund 2) been able to contact a person to discuss this issue. Oh, also.. MY PARKING TICKET STILL SHOWS AS PENDING IN MY PURCHASES ON SEATGEEK, so I wouldn't have been able to use it even if the lot did allow me in. I was honestly shocked our tickets to the game actually worked. So, yeah, safe to say I will never be using SeatGeek for anything again and I will tell anyone considering SG, NOT to use them.
