Very disappointed in my chosen brand

We've been raving advocates for Samsung for years. We buy Samsung everything, appliances, widescreen TVs that last about 2 years, chromebooks, and 4 phones every 2 years. Sure we've had problems with just about everything and we're OK with the 2 yr. life span of their products, since we don't listen to the negative reviews when we buy.I am very disappointed with the company that has it's Samsung logo on many high dollar products throughout my home right now. I bought an $1,800 Galaxy Z-Fold 3 about 11 months ago. Within 6 months the screen started separating where the fold is. I could live with that since the reviews said that would happen. Now, the cameras stopped working, the main screen that you open up to is black, and it won't hook up to wifi at all. I sent it to Samsung and they sent it back, un-repaired, after a series of very rude text messages stating that I need to pay $386 for them to fix it, or they're sending it back to me. They gave no explanation for the reason it is not covered under warranty. My only other option is to file an insurance claim and pay taxes on a new $1,800 phone. I simply don't understand a company such as this, to nit-pick a few dollars with a loyal customer. I am a teacher with a moderate income. I constantly ask my students what the need. Out of my own pocket, dog food-DONE, food for their families-DONE, crafts items, learning tools to help them be successful, fairy garden items to decorate around their outhouse, their only toilet-DONE! Samsung, you were successful in ruining my day, and having faith in your brand.
