Bought a perpetual license for sage accounts program and was advised halfway through my financial year that if I don't take out a subscription the program will no longer work. Not happy about it but took out the subscription to finish the accounting year and cancel sage. Spent time on an online chat all I wanted was an email contact to confirm cancellation and have it in writing. NO EMAIL CONTACT AVAILABLE YOU THEN HAVE TO WASTE YOUR TIME HAVING TO HAVE THAT TELEPHONE CONVERSATION!!! I have used the software for years and been happy until the changes and clearly not easy to simply cancel.
