RC took our money under false pretenses. They sent Covid Protocols with conflicting advice. They have misformed us by email and on the phone. They have misled us. After over 6 hours on the phone with customer services (at our expense), with plenty of evidence in our favour, they have stated they are not going to refund our money. We are not allowed to speak to the Leadership team or have copies of any phone calls that contain evidence, as it is their policy that customers are not allowed to do/hear this. They did not send any response by email at all, so we have nothing in writing from them. In the UK it appears we are not covered by GDPR which states they have to hand over phone call recordings. We have spent over 100k with RC over the years, even our young children are high Diamond Plus, loyalty members. We are 16k down, yes 16k! They have tried to delay/avoid talking to us for months. We are now going down the legal route, even though RC will not give us a phone number or address for our legal representatives to contact. I have always recommended RC in the past but my advice is now AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We will never go away with them again. Bye-bye to all the lovely cabin crew we know onboard the ships, we hope they treat you better than your customers. If anyone can recommend a cruise company that is not money-orientated but customer orientated, a company that cares about their customers and wants them to return, let us know, our money will be going their way. RC, you lose out.
