Ran payroll as normal for November. All fine. Been doing it for years - no problems. However, it seems like immediately after payroll ran the tools updated to a new version. Then, the SMP EPS did not generate. Therefore, this month for the first time ever there was no data for the SMP sent to HMRC and I am unable to get a refund of the Statutory Maternity Pay.I feel I've explained this to QBs very clearly. But now playing email Ping Pong with these guys now asking me if I've phoned HMRC. Do you understand how hard it is to talk to HMRC? It clearly isn't even an HMRC issue. The issue is your tools did not generate the EMP as normal.QBs are simply not understanding the issue.
