Extremely Disappointed with Porsche

I recently attempted to extend the warranty on my Porsche Taycan through Porsche Centre Brooklands and was met with an inflexible and inconvenient process. The dealership insisted that I make a 1.5-hour round-trip solely to sign a document in person. When I questioned why this couldn't be handled remotely, I was told it was due to FCA regulations. However, other FCA-regulated financial products like mortgages, bank accounts, and car insurance can all be arranged without needing to be physically present. I also contacted the Porsche Customer Interaction Centre for assistance but they told me as well that I needed to make the drive to a dealership to sign a piece of paper. What made it worse was the complete lack of flexibility or willingness to explore other solutions, such as posting the document for me to sign. For a premium brand, I expected much better customer service and a more forward-thinking approach. Instead, I was met with inconvenience, poor communication, and no effort to make the process easier.This experience has left me extremely disappointed and questioning the level of customer service provided by Porsche Centre Brooklands and Porsche UK.
