Philips is horrible and I won't be convinced otherwise. just to clarify if I could put zero stars it would be zero star rating. The reason for this review is to warn the people out there that Philips is horrible when it comes to customer service and it is a waste of time to try to talk to these people. So 7 months ago I went ahead and bought a Philips Roku TV I've had it since then and the remote started having issues it would not power on the TV or even control the TV like its suppose to so I called Philips and told them the situation. Just to clarify there were 3 people involved in this situation there were 2 women by the name of Zai and Jc which were representatives then there was a supervisor by the name of Regie. just to be clear the supervisor should know better but obviously didn't care. so back to the situation i first spoke to Zai on may 17 2022 and she told me that getting the remote would take 5-7 business days and 24 to 48 hours to process which would mean that I would need a tracking number to track the remote that I was going to get. However, time flew by and it was now 4 days later which was the 21st of may that's when I spoke to Jc and she was telling me that I would have to wait to get the tracking number until Monday or Tuesday which keep this in mind because it is not going to make sense later on. i then told her that it is not fair that I'm waiting this long for a tracking number so that's when I asked for the supervisor Regie. keep in mind that I spoke to him on the same day as Jc and had no problems because he escalated the situation we also talked about what would happen in this situation and he said that he would give me the tracking number on Monday the 23rd and call me at 12pm my time and he understood completely what time he was supposed to call me. So that's when Monday came around and right off the bat he never called me back I waited a full 20 minutes at 12pm my time and he never called me so I called them back and asked for Regie and they were telling me he is on lunch and I was thinking what type of customer service is this? so I waited until 1pm and he still didn't call me back so I called back and he finally answered i told him that hey what's going on with the package and hes telling me it's been delivered and it was on the same day we talked is what he said. I told him it was never there because the day after my dad checked the mail and never saw it so really they should have sent me the tracking number or should have at least told me the tracking number over the phone because they were making excuses how they don't send an email of the tracking number. After I told him that, he started saying call the police and all this other stuff because he knows he and his company is in the wrong for not sending me a tracking number. But check this out he told me that they never got the tracking number until the 23rd and I did some digging and apparently they got the tracking number on the 18th of may so things are not adding up either they were too lazy to give me the tracking number or they are playing games with me and I don't appreciate being played with. By the way, my situation is still not solved and still stuck with a broken remote. I would never recommend this company to anyone.
