Severe harassment after I complained about them misleading me and damaging my credit scoreOn their website they claim to offer a 24 month credit option, and assure the customer that applying regardless of t he outcome, will have no effect on their credit scoreSo I thought to check it out. Application was rejected which is fine since I didn’t really need it. But since that day my usual payment methods kept being rejected without any reasons, keeping in mind I already have credit accounts with other platforms and never had any issues as my credit score is solid. So I contacted PayPal to ask what’s going on. Of course the usual copy/ paste template empty answers: we assure u the application will have no effect on your credit score and advise you ti apply again. I kept saying I am not talking about the future, clearly something happened after that application, and if you cannot provide me with an explanation why my payments are being rejected when I have enough money in my account, then clearly the only reason left is that application. After dancing around the topic and not actually answering any of my questions I requested to speak to a supervisor. A supervisor called me back about an hour later than the scheduled call, the quality of the call was horrible, after every sentence that supervisor Brian would remain completely silent. I wait and wait and then start speaking only for him to start speaking at the same time, clearly without an ear peace as no matter how many times I keep saying I didn’t hear you, he would just carry on for minutes before finally realizing Iam trying to speak, only for the same exact scenario to happen after every single sentence. He told me that yes that application could have affected my internal standing with PayPal but kept assuring me it’s only internal. How can I trust that when their website doesn’t say anything about internal or external effects. The conversation was impossible with the call quality so I asked him to call back. He tried to schedule another time but I explained that the issue is the quality of the call so there’s no need for waiting. I am ready to receive the call right now. That was 48 hours ago and I never heard back from him. He also failed to send the emails he promised.Since that call, when I try to transfer money to family and friends, it’s placed under endless review without any reasons, while the money is on hold so I cannot really transfer using any other platform, and this is to people that I have sent money to several times before so it’s not like a new contact or anything to warrant such behavior other than it being harassment since I told them I will no longer do purchases using PayPal as they deceive their customers and damage their credit score and lie about it. In conclusion: DO NOT TRUST PAYPAL OR BELIEVE THEIR LIES
