Genuinely one of the worst experiences I have ever had shopping online. I placed a rather expensive order of new TV and speakers and paid via bank transfer. Apparently I had input my birthday incorrectly in the app and they wouldn't allow me to change it without seeing government issued ID... I shared my licence, permanent residency card and also passport. Nothing changed, they wouldn't send me the items (despite money leaving my account). I requested a refund after 10 days and cancelled the order. Nothing happened. I am not 40 days into the saga and still haven't had the 1k+ returned to my account. I really wanted to support a 'local' business instead of amazon, but in doing so, it's proven to be an extremely frustrating and poor customer experience. They rely on outdated automated systems, giving replies to emails 48hours after sending.. no humans in the loop.
