Nokia broke my phone with a bad software update and won't offer a free repair. It's a 5.3 running Android 12. There's a known issue where if you complete a standard reset it will 'brick' the phone and it can't be repaired.Nokia acknowledge the issue and refuse to repair the phone as it's out of warranty. However this isn't a warranty issue, this is about an action they took which damaged my phone. They offered to repair it but not for free. Search online for Nokia 5.3 bricked Android 12 and you'll see this is a widespread issue.Here's their admission.---HMD are aware of an issue affecting a limited number of Nokia 5.3 devices after a factory reset on Android 12.Our development team are aware of this issue and an update to resolve it will be delivered as soon as possible.
