Poor customer service

Bought two TCL tv's from them. First 65" 6-series one was great after a few days, so I chucked the box. Still great a couple months later. Second TCl 43" 5-series was also great after a few days, so I chucked the box. But a couple days after that defects started showing up in the screen. This is well within 30 days. Newegg refused to do an even exchange because I didn't have the box, even though I could have returned the defective tv in the new box since I just want the same item. Terrible service, will not shop again.
