Newegg sent a Seagate BarraCuda ST2000DM008 2TB 7200 RPM 256MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive Bare Drive out of its original manufacturers retail package, in an opened Newegg box. There was installation disk, no instruction manual or warranty card. They said they could send a replacement but I only wanted it IF it was in its original manufacturers retail package. They sent the same thing. I requested my refund and they agreed. They then decided to NOT refund and NOT credited back to my original payment method. They emailed me instead a Newegg gift card. They simply lied. Now it is on file with the Better Business Bureau. I asked to close my account and refund my money but they refused to escalate this and rudely and unprofessionally abruptly ended the chat session. Yes they hung up on me. I want my money and I will never do business with these charlatans.
