Wow, Nest customer service is truly awful, and the technicians have absolutely no clue what they are doing. I just spent nearly 3 hours talking to someone who ultimately concluded that he can't fix it, has no idea what the problem is, could not escalate it to someone who could fix the problem (2nd level support), and would not replace the device which is not working. I told him I would never buy a Nest device again, and would go online to tell everyone that I could not to buy one because of the terrible customer support. His only suggestion at the end - call an HVAC technician - when the problem is very clearly the electronics within the device! That's going to go nowhere! Unbelievable.
