I have the 1st gen camera that connects to the Nest app. I have been very happy with it and how it works. This week, I bought a new camera to put in another location and the 2nd gen camera does not work with the Nest app and only works with the Google Home app. The Google Home application is horrible and I would only recommend to my worst enemy. Needless to say, I am sending their camera back and now looking to buy more cameras for my other system (Arlo). And here I thought Google had their crap together. Boy was I wrong!
