Site used to have reliable reviews, until they introduced the god awful "emoji reaction system" - terrible reviews that have the most reactions will be the front-page review, that makes zero sense. 4-5 sentences in broken english is NOT a proper review that gives insight for the work, whether it's a negative or positive review. Secondly, rankings for new anime (even manga for that matter) have been inflated, every new series goes on top 100, which is due to bots and from users who immediately give ratings despite only 2-3 episode being released. Half of top 100's are shows that were released in 2021-2023 and most of them are mediocre at most. It was NEVER this easy to get in the top 100 rank, what in the world happened to the system?
