You know exactly what you're doing. To clarify, you offer a free trial, but while signing up for the free trial you offer a discount, which if chosen negates the 'free' trial and charges your card. Yes, there may be some fine print explaining this, but I didn't see it, and it's clear most others don't either.Don't pretend you value transparency. I've never, using an online subscription page, seen anything so brazenly underhanded. And for the record, it is seriously harming your reputation. I would otherwise be supportive of the work your company does.
