Mercari has recently changed their selling format to benefit their sellers. The seller lists something at a specific price. As an example, I wanted a brand new wig priced at $110. When all was said and done by the end of the fee adding, it would have cost me $154. The majority of the fee is their percentage that the seller used to pay to sell their item that they are now making the buyer pay. They also have a fee for processing your payment, a fee just because and who knows what else. Until just recently they had a “no return” policy. At least they’ve changed that. Speaking to their customer service dept (which is a nightmare to contact) all you get is, “we have millions of people who love our fee policy.” They are delusional. My thought is with all the negative comments I’m finding on EVERY site, they will change it back. Until then, I will shop elsewhere.
