Macys doesn't even deserve one star

Macys doesn't even deserve one star. I purchased an all black queen sized coverlet set online and receive a black and red KING sized coverlet with a damaged package. I called customer service Dec 22 to report the error and get a replacement sent before Christmas. I was assured it would come in time. After hearing nothing I called on Christmas Eve. They said they didn't ship the replacement until I returned the coverlet in the store (which I did on the 23rd) so it was my fault the item hadn't shipped and that I would receive in on Dec 27. I asked for an order confirmation # and they said it was the same as my original order. After receiving no confirmation email and being skeptical of the integrity of my last two experiences, I called today Dec 26 to get an update. I was not surprised to find out no orders had been processed under my name. I was asked if I wanted to reorder the item for a 3rd time. I asked for a manager instead and she told me the orders WERE placed but cancelled bc the vendor was having problems with the items. So they were going to let me endure this same cycle over and over again knowing that the item wasn't even available. The item is STILL listed in stock on their website. I am very forgiving and patient but Macys has customer service from hell. It's a scam over there.
