No wonder most Macy’s stores have closed.. Customer Service?? Does it even exist? Does anyone even actually work there??.. Went to Kenwood Macy’s, daughter found item she liked but didn’t buy, bought another, but once home, we talked her into it.. 24 hours later and 3 of us have attempted calling every single department/automated prompt no less than probably 100 times!!!! to put said item on hold (our drive is 45 minutes!!! at least, so don’t wanna drive there for nothing!!), and NOONE, Not a single LIVE person answers in ANY dept!!!!!. It’s prob gone by now, which angers me b/c we began calling w/in an hour of leaving! But here we are, an entire next day w/ZERO help!.. Finally hit button for billing questions (ha, funny that’s the only dept. that will actually answer! so u can get where u need to), but she can’t help either!! Said she’d call the dept and have them call back.. fast forward 1 full hour, NO CALL BACK!!!. So I call again, same person answers, says she can’t get anyone to answer ANY dept up there and she has other customers to attend to and so she has to wait until lunch break..??? Wtheck?? Does just 1 person work in this freakin store?. B/c honestly, it never seems too busy when we are there in person.. Sorry, I know lots of places are short handed, but this is just ridiculous. After 100 calls over a seriously long period of time, someone should be able to finally help!… I’m fuming!. No wonder dept stores are dying off.. If u can’t get adequate, even semi-adequate service, how are u going to keep/maintain a customer base!.. what’s the damn point?! As much as I don’t want it to be, I Guess ordering online is where it’s at.. Hell, it’s a lot quicker and easier anymore.. which is sad.. Really Trying to support the actual stores, but they don’t make it easy::.. Smh 🤦‍♀️
