I purchased an item online that had a free gift with purchase. I only decided to make the purchase due to the value with the included free gift. At the time the free gift had three options. This original purchase was made 48 hours ago. I just received an email stating that the free gift was no longer available and that portion of my purchase was canceled. I called customer service and the other options were also unavailable. They also told me it was just not available via shipping but I could pick it up in store. When I asked how to do that, the representative then could not answer the question and told me it was unavailable. I asked to cancel the entire order since it was no longer the value I had agreed to and customer service said because I did not cancel within 30 minutes of ordering I could no longer do so. I will now have to wait for it to arrive, take it to a store and return it. The closest Macys is 30 minutes away. Very disappointing. Update. I just checked the website and it lists a different option, but still have a free gift with purchase. Why couldn’t it just be replaced with that one?
