bad drivers, app AND website glitch, ZERO support

I was t-boned yesterday by a Lyft who ran a red light. There was a police report, and apparently the insurance provided does not exist. Since the lyft thing was blazing in the windshield, i decided that i should at least report this guy operating a lyft vehicle without insurance. I have tried multiple times to file the accident report on the website AND in the app, but it keeps giving me an error message with the year in the date input. There is no way to correct this, and i even tried inputting different years just in case the glitch isjust with “2024”. It still gives me the same error message stating that valid dates must be “2012 or later”. I’ve tried the help section’s suggestions, but none have worked. Beyond that, it just gives me a loop to nowhere. There is no phone number, or any other resources that will actually solve the issue. I’d happily provide docs on all ends.My friend actually died in a rideshare, because the driver ran a red light. i am now convinced to think that this type of business just makes the world broken and unsafe for the rest of us, cuz apparently there is no policy for these guys to NOT run red lights. Gotta love unaccountable businesses and people. I will absolutely NEVER use Lyft for any reason.
