Lyft is a SCAM! I Accepted a ride for $60.97 (40 minutes) 24.8 miles from Middletown CT to Waterbury CT. When I was done with the trip there was no change in the amount. About 2 days later I checked my actual bank account, there was a pending charge from Lyft for $161.96. I assumed it was just a pending charge and the exact amount would show up when it actually went through. I was wrong! They charged me $161.96 with no explanation as to why there was a hundred dollar increase for the ride! You can’t get ahold of anyone at Lyft. There’s no customer service number and I’ve tried reaching out through the app & by email and no one is getting back to me. This is DISGUSTING what they have done to me and most likely hundreds of other people. I’ve tried disputing through my actual bank but there’s no proof of what I accepted the ride for. They just changed the amount on my app and everything. They didn’t put ride- $60.97 and then a list or something as to what the extra $100 is for! I’m FUMING! This is beyond ridiculous. I will never in my life ride with Lyft again. Never had this issue with Uber!
