Dreadful intransigent and discriminatory customer service

I’ve been with LinkedIn for 12 years. Never had a problem in the past. Then suddenly they restricted my access for no reason. I mentioned that an old email address had been compromised but that I’d updated it years ago and there had never any problem. I told them I was having problems getting into the account I’d had for years and I just got a lazy, impersonal, copy and paste reply going around in a loop about uploading a drivers license or passport (none of which I have) or taking a document to some notary (I’m largely housebound) so terrible discriminatory practises against people with disabilities and long term health conditions. No help offered as to how they could assist me getting back into my account. I have plenty of documentation with my name and address, even a Blue Badge with my photo on but no. They were intransigent and tin-eared in the extreme. Why would you bother with them? It’s only that I’d got many connections, endorsements and uploaded my publications and don’t want to have to start from scratch with a new account. But I’m hacked off with them on principle. They’ve really gone down the pan and customer service is dire, derisory and a bot could probably do better.Update - reading the other I star reviews (which most of them are) I realise I’m not alone and very glad I don’t have the documentation they were bullying me for as - as many people have pointed out - this is very dodgy
