LG: Don’t waste your time or money

LG has a class action lawsuit against them because the refrigerator compressors fail within 3 years. Only certain companies can service them because of this. They will fix the issue, but they first need to send out a tech to diagnose or “make sure” that it is the compressor. Then they will order the part—two-three more days. Meanwhile this family of 4 has been without a fridge and freezer since Saturday. This isn’t the first issue with LG for us. Failure of phones. A dishwasher that doesn’t clean and had to be serviced because it wouldn’t come on. Great bells and whistles—but fails to do reliably what the appliance was created to do. Save yourself the headaches. They offered me $200 to get a mini fridge to get us through (we already have two), but I had to buy one and submit for reimbursement. To say nothing of the hundreds of dollars in groceries we have already had to throw out! I told the supervisor that she may want to look for another job, as I see a short lifespan left for this company.
